BRET is registered company under the Partnership Act 1932 of Pakistan and is working for development and promotion of biogas energy in Pakistan. BRET is jointly working with Bio-Energy Technology and Application Pakistan (BETA PAK) the Biogas pioneer company of Pakistan in developing thousands of domestic and commercial biogas plants all over Pakistan. The company has got experienced professionals from livestock, micro-biology, and natural resources to civil work, chemical and mechanical engineers responsible for handling both livestock, biogas plant, digester development and operation experts.
The company not only develop biogas plants after energy need assessment of the household but also assess the availability of the cow dung on daily basis for biogas production. Once the need assessment is done, the biogas plant layout map for the required size is drawn on the selected site close to the kitchen and animal yard. Then the civil engineers construct the dome shaped biogas plant using local raw material. As the biogas plant is ready, the animal dung is made slurry (Neither too hard nor too watery allowing it easy flow into the digester). Every day slurry is feeded into the digester and in a weeks’ time as the digester main body gets filled and bacterial process starts, biogas production also start and rise up and collected into the digester done. As more and more gas accumulate in the dome, its pressure increases and pushes the decomposed digestate through the outlet outside the digester under an automatic dynamic system.
The owners and or attendant of the livestock are trained in making slurry and operation of the biogas digester for its efficient working. An operational manual in local vernacular is also distributed among the biogas using households for proper operation and maintenance of the biogas plant. The company keep close coordination with the biogas owning households for any required support or trouble shutting during the biogas plant operation.
